One of Nambé's earliest designs, the ample curvature of the Tri-Corner Bowl culminates in three gentle rim points, while the subtle base creates a sense of perfect balance. This classic piece continues to enchant as both a work of art and serving piece. The Tri Corner Bowl is both freezer and oven safe, making it useful from the kitchen to the dining room table. Serve a beautiful salad in a perfectly chilled or an entire entrée presented at the perfect temperature.
Nambé transcends trends and generations with mid-century modern design tailored to today's consumer. We enhance lives with product that emotionally connects, quality that inspires, and a brand that shares in the lifestyle aspirations of our customer, whether formal or casual. Recognized for its award-winning designs for more than 60 years, Nambe's commitment to timeless beauty, artistic integrity and uncompromising quality is evident in the brand's collection of serve ware, barware, home décor and gift items.
Nambé collaborates with the world's most esteemed designers to develop products that bring function and style into the home. The Tri-Corner bowl is one of Nambé's earliest classics, designed by sculptor Richard K. Thomas, who also designed Nambé's iconic Butterfly bowl. The Tri-Corner is both a work of art and a functional bowl, with sides that sweep up to three rounded points, connected by a gently dipping rim. Quite deep, and available in a variety of diameters ranging from six to eleven inches (there's even a 16-inch, 10-quart Grande version for the true admirer), the bowl looks stunning whether it's adorning a display shelf or serving a chilled salad or hot pasta dish at the table.
Made of a metal alloy that retains heat and cold exceptionally well and won't crack, chip, or tarnish, the bowl is safe for use in the oven and freezer, but not the microwave or dishwasher. Washing by hand will preserve the bright mirror finish. Nambé was founded in 1951 in a village of the same name in scenic northern New Mexico, and from the beginning, the company focused on hand-producing high-quality, functional metal items such as bowls and trays with great attention to timeless, modern design.
Still made in the USA, Nambé's signature metal alloy is liquefied, poured into a hand-made sand cast, and the resulting piece repeatedly polished and smoothed by hand. Exceptional gifts for the most special of occasions, Nambé metal bowls and accessories are now joined by porcelain and crystal pieces, each flawlessly crafted. Nambé ware has won numerous design awards, has been shown in or recognized by nearly two dozen museums worldwide, and is part of the permanent collections of many, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
